iPhone users in Australia, Indonesia and Sweden will be paying more for all their app purchases following a price hike by apple effective by tomorrow. Apple’s statement was published by iClarified, where they cited the falling value of dollar as the key reason behind the move.

As a result of this hike, app users will have to pay $1.49 for apps they used to buy in $1.29. As a small relief to app developers, Apple has introduced a new low cut-price tier of 99 cents for them, a tier that was previously only available to emerging economies.
