Prime Minister Modi concluded his five day visit to UK and Turkey and headed for home today. The key events included an address to Indian diaspora at Wembley Stadium and the G20 summit in Turkey. This was the first visit of an Indian Prime minister in Turkey and he was accorded the best possible security for the occasion.
The discussions in the G20 summit regarding counterterrorism plans were highly colored by the recent attacks on Paris. All nations agreed on finding a more effective solution to terminate terrorist activities around the globe. Discussions were also conducted regarding key global issues like cyber-safety, sustainable development, inclusive global financial growth and containing the global refugee crisis.
The Prime minister also met Leaders of BRICS nations on the sidelines of the summit and top industrial leaders during his tour of UK.
