Parsley is an herb that is commonly used in Middle Eastern, European and American Cuisine. More than adding flavour to various delectable recipes around the world, Parsley has many health benefits that may not be well known to all.
Parsley is known to have two major components that contribute to its healing properties. Volatile oils in the herb, especially myristicin, have displayed tumor-suppressing properties in animal studies, and a tendency to nullify certain carcinogens. Flavonoids form another major component of Parsley, and lend it antioxidant properties, which helps it prevent oxygen related damage to body cells. - Chop one bunch of parsley and mix it with a yoghurt of your choice
- Complete the mix during the day
- Repeat this for 30 days.
- On the last day, mix some fresh nettle tips.
- For the next month, add spinach and nettle tips to the mix.
